Creative AI Explorers is an engaging, hands-on holiday program designed for primary school students who are curious about artificial intelligence and digital creativity. Through age-appropriate games, guided activities and creative projects, students will explore how AI works and how it can be used to create images, music, stories, videos and voices. They will learn how to write effective prompts, train simple AI models and recognise patterns while developing creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Activities and learning challenges will be tailored to suit students’ ages and experience levels, ensuring that younger learners receive clear, guided support while older students explore more advanced AI concepts and projects. Program Highlights: - Explore AI concepts such as machine learning and pattern recognition through interactive games and activities. - Discover how AI learns from information and training examples. - Train simple AI models and test how accurately they recognise patterns. - Use a variety of AI platforms to create images, music, stories, videos and voices. - Learn how to write clear and effective prompts for different creative tasks. - Strengthen creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Evaluate the strengths and limitations of different AI tools. - Explore AI safety, ethical considerations and potential biases in an age-appropriate way. Event Details Date: Friday, 9 October 2026 Time: 8:00 AM (drop-off for 8:30 start) to 4:00 PM (from 3.30pm for showcase) Location: Western Power Perth Office (363 Wellington St, Perth) Age Group: 7 to 12 years old Cost: $125 per child (Western Power will cover 50% of the fee) Maximum Capacity: 30 students Note: Please bring your own lunch and water bottle on the day. Cancellation Policy
Booking and Cancellation Policy: 1. Cancellations are accepted with at least 7 days’ notice before the program start date. A refund of the program fee will be provided; however, the 2% website platform charge is non-refundable. 2. Cancellations or changes of mind made within 7 days before the program start date will incur a 35% cancellation fee, calculated based on the total program fee. This fee will be shared between the parents and Western Power. 3. No refund or program credit will be provided for cancellations on the day of the program or for non-attendance, unless a valid medical certificate is provided. In the event of illness, a credit will be issued for a future booking once a valid medical certificate is provided.
