Co-delivered by Aicode Australia and Tech Aware team, this program blends hands-on technology with strategic decision-making to build future-ready skills in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. Facilitators: Jawaria Mahmood - Online Safety Educator & Founder of Tech Aware Dr. Silvia Lozeva - Strategic Thinking Consultant & Founding Executive Director of Institute 361 Gilmar Vales - STEM Instructor & Team Manager of Aicode Australia Part 1: AI Strategy Lab – Robotics, Machine Learning & Smart Decision-Making In this exciting, hands-on session, students explore how robots “see,” decide, and act—just like a strategic player. Through guided activities, students will: - Train a simple AI model using images or gestures - Teach robots to recognise safe vs unsafe situations - Design territory maps inspired by Go and program robots to plan safe paths - Run mission challenges where robots make decisions based on colours, markers, or trained AI models No coding experience is required. Students work in small teams with templates and guidance, while more advanced learners can take on deeper challenges. Part 2: Cyber Weiqi – Strategic Thinking & Online Safety Students explore the world’s oldest strategy game—Weiqi (Go)—to strengthen their analytical thinking and cyber-awareness skills. Delivered by the Tech Aware team, this workshop: - Introduce strategic thinking through fun Wei Qi challenges - Teach basic cyber safety concepts in a fun and engaging format. - Foster connection through shared learning experience. - Empower participants with practical strategies to stay safe online. This session helps students think ahead, evaluate digital risks, and make smarter choices online.
