At the heart of technological innovation, the 2023 RoboPro Australia Drone Youth Tournament in Perth was an exhilarating spectacle of young brilliance.
Held on the 31st of March, this event aimed to nurture and promote the exceptional technological skills of our youth, showcasing their boundless talent
and creativity.
Divided into two groups, beginners and advanced coders, the participants wowed us with their impressive prowess. The beginners' group showcased their proficiency in completing obstacle tasks using a combination of simple programming and manual controls, demonstrating a remarkable blend of determination and ingenuity.
In the advanced coder group, participants exhibited their expert skills in programming and navigating their drones through a complex maze, proving their strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities were second to none.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed sponsor and co-organizer, Aizone, as well as our valued sponsors DroneSkyShows, DeRucci, Welink, and Caffissimo. Their generous support played an instrumental role in inspiring these young minds and provided them with a platform to exhibit their incredible talents.
Additionally, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to James Clarke from ACBC and Jing Chen from Chinese Mum Incorporated WA for their unwavering support as event leaders.
A special shout-out goes to Carton Mark, Principal of Balga Senior High School, Assistant Principal Jesse Yock from St Columba’s Catholic Primary School, and the dedicated teachers, Roslyn London and Leigh Chatt, for their invaluable assistance.
To all the participants, we applaud your hard work, talent, and passion. We have no doubt that each one of you is destined for greatness in the field of technology.
As we move forward, let's continue to reach for the skies, nurturing the talents of tomorrow and pushing the boundaries of innovation. The future is bright, and we are excited to witness what lies ahead!
