About the Course
The DJI Tello Talent Drone Program is meticulously designed to introduce younger students to the fundamentals of drone technology and programming. The overarching goal is to cultivate an understanding of drone operations in a variety of contexts—from basic flying techniques to advanced applications such as filmmaking and precision tasks. By integrating STEM principles, the program aims to enhance critical thinking, foster creativity, and develop problem-solving skills.Â
Each module of the program is structured to progressively introduce students to more complex drone capabilities and coding tasks, ensuring a deep and engaging learning experience. The program encourages students to explore the practical applications of drones in real-world scenarios such as agriculture, surf life saving, and geographical mapping, promoting a holistic understanding of how drone technology can be utilized in various fields.
Drones In Agriculture
This program immerses students in the exciting world of drones and coding with a specific focus on agriculture. Students will explore the diverse applications of drones in this field, learn about the importance of crop protection and engage in hands-on projects where they will witness the creative use of drones. The program also delves into the crucial task of irrigating vineyards, divided into two parts for comprehensive learning. Students will explore the intricacies of drone redundancy systems, ensuring reliability and safety in operations. Additionally, they will discover the innovative technique of drone seeding, both in terms of planning and execution.Â
Drones Mapping
Our STEM program offers an exciting journey into the world of drones, mapping, and coding. Participants will embark on a progressive adventure, from understanding mapping techniques with drones to the exhilaration of competitive 'Treasure Hunting'.Through 'Topographic Height Survey' and 'Terrain ElevationMapping', they will gain hands-on experience using variables for precise measurements. The program advances to cutting-edge skills involving 'Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations andAutomatic Return'. Join us to explore mapping's potential, master drone technology, and cultivate coding skills in an engaging and dynamic educational journey.
