Service Description
A fun and engaging 2-day holiday program where young explorers dive into ocean science through hands-on experiments, basic coding, robotics exploration, and marine storytelling in the mornings. In the afternoon, children will continue their ocean journey through creative art activities. Guided by experienced art teachers, they will create a watercolour wind bell on Day 1 and paint a vibrant underwater acrylic scene on Day 2 — bringing marine stories to life through imaginative expression. Learning Objectives: 1. Understand the layers of the ocean and marine animal habitats 2. Explore the differences between saltwater and freshwater 3. Learn how robots are used to study and protect the ocean 4. Practice basic coding and directional thinking through fun challenges 5. Develop visual storytelling and creativity through ocean-themed art 6. Build vocabulary and knowledge around marine animals and technology Day 1: Dive into the Deep! Key Activities & Learning Outcomes: 1. Identify ocean zones and marine animals that live in each 2. Understand buoyancy through saltwater and freshwater experiments 3. Practice directional thinking through coding with Robot Crab 4. Recognise marine animals and relate them to AI pattern recognition 5. Express creativity by painting a watercolour ocean-themed wind bell Day 2: Ocean Adventures! Key Activities & Learning Outcomes: 1. Create animated ocean scenes using ScratchJr 2. Learn how underwater robots explore and protect the ocean 3. Complete a coding map challenge involving trash clean-up 4. Sort and classify animals based on features and habitat 5. Paint your own underwater world with vibrant acrylic colours. Program Features: a. Hands-on STEM learning combined with creative art and movement activities. b. Small group size (max. 8 kids) for a safe and engaging environment. c. Activities led by experienced instructors to foster teamwork, creativity, and curiosity.
