Does your child want to bring the excitement of the Royal Show to life through coding? This October, our Royal Code Fest School Holiday Program offers a one-day immersive coding experience where students will use Sphero BOLT robots and JavaScript to create their own unique Royal Show-themed projects. This program is perfect for those who want to enhance their coding skills while exploring creativity and teamwork in a fun and engaging environment. During this one-day program, your child will: 1. Enhance their JavaScript coding skills through practical, hands-on applications. 2. Develop strategies to navigate and interact with complex environments using Sphero BOLT. 3. Learn how to map out and program routes for their robots. 4. Understand how to use sensors for interactive programming. 5. Collaborate with peers to achieve creative goals and complete unique projects. Event Details: Date: Friday, 4th October 2024 Time: 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM (8:45 - 9:00 AM drop-off and 3:30 - 3:45 PM pick-up) Location: Level 1/ 64 Mill Point Rd, South Perth Cost: $135 (includes teaching materials) Year Group: Year 6 to Year 10 Please remember to bring your laptop, recess, lunch, and water bottle. A minimum of 8 students is required for the program to proceed.
